D2.5 Mantychore Software Business Plan

During the development of the privately funded MANTICORE II project, the Catalan government – through the VALTEC program, reference number VALTEC 09-1-0015 – sponsored the creation of a business plan to exploit the software suite, which is different from exploiting the Mantychore services (a work carried out by TID within the Mantychore project).
This business plan has been translated into English and provided as part of the Mantychore project’s official documentation.

D2.3 Report on related Research, Exploitation and dissemination activities and planning update

This document represents the global plan and purposes to be achieved to ensure the broad impact of the project into the research community. With this aim the package is divided into four specific areas: dissemination, exploitation, standardisation and liaison. For each one it is identified and defined the planning strategies that has been done in the first 15 months to assure that objective.

D1.2 First Periodic Activity Report (October 2010 – December 2011)

The First Periodic Activity Report provides a summary of the major results and achievements of the project during the first 15 months and reports on the resources spent to make these achievements.

Its contents is:

  • Publishable Summary
  • Core of the Report: Project objectives, work progress and achievements, project management
  • Deliverables and milestones.
  • Explanation of the use of resources.
  • Financial Statements – Forms C ans Summary Financial Report.
  • Certificates.

WP6 Deliverable 6.1 submitted

This deliverable presents the study, design and simulation of algorithms for the implementation of the Mantychore Marketplace mechanism. Motivated by Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) paradigm where the virtualisation and infrastructure slicing is a key technology enabler, Mantychore Marketplace facilitates the automatic negotiation and reservation of infrastructure resources for composition of virtual infrastructures requested by users and/or service providers. The proposed framework and associated mechanisms have been evaluated by the means of simulation.

Mantychore 0.1 Release

The Mantychore developer team is proud to announce the Mantychore 0.1 Release. This is an early beta release, the functionality is minimal but will be useful to test the deployment experience and the feedback cycle.

The key features include:

  • Initial support for management of resources. Create, start, stop and remove operations are supported.
  • Support to list and set interfaces.
  • Support for CLI (Karaf gogo based shell).
  • Support for resource profiles
  • Support for JunOS (>10.10) systems with Netconf protocol enabled.
  • Persistence support.
  • Remote access to debug and fix errors.

WP3. Deliverable 3.1 submitted

This deliverable aims to give a set of content guidelines and define requirements and procedures, for the creation of the user documentation also known as user’s manual. The user manual documentation will support the user’s communities and serve as basis for training documentation. Moreover, it aims to boost participation and interest in the project. This deliverable also serves as technical documentation for understanding the mechanisms and services usage within the Mantychore toolset. Additionally, it will also be used as an indicator of the current state of the project to the external and internal members of the community. This is because the user manual will be updated as long as new software releases of the Mantychore toolset are deployed

WP1 Deliverable D1.1 – Project Presentation , submitted

This document contains a high level description of the Mantychore project.
It is the public description of the project in terms of main goals, key issues technical approach and achievements. It is intended for publication on the Websites of the Commission and the project.
The presentation has been prepared in three formats:

i) A text document suitable for printed presentations of the project. This text has been used to compose a Fact Sheet Brochure.

ii) A slide series for objective description

iii) Web-format presentation
